This page will not invent cart names, drop tables, or pity timers. The lever is the only published way to roll unique carts. The Cart Index is the log. The carts tier list is the keep-or-ignore filter. Luck gamepasses that would have helped the roll are off sale.

What “Legendary or better” actually means

The badge is not “own the prettiest wagon.” It is a rarity floor. A cart at Legendary or above, added to the collection, counts. A duplicate common does not. A unique uncommon does not. Screenshotting a neighbor’s train on a 5-player island does not.

How you actually roll

1. Finish the tutorial so All Aboard! is done. Details: getting started.
2. Attach a working consist so the ore loop can pay for more pulls. See ores and smelting.
3. Pull the lever. That is the official unique-cart verb.
4. If the roll is unique, stamp the index. If it is Legendary or better, you are done with this badge.
5. Attach keepers. Do not delete a Legendary because a YouTuber named a different cart this wiki cannot verify.

Volume is the honest strategy. Cash from smelting buys pulls. Upgrades that raise production buy more volume. Sitting at the lever with empty pockets is not a luck build.

Luck passes are not a current shortcut

The Roblox store has listed 2x permanent Luck, 4x Permanent Luck, and 2x Roll Speed. On 5 September 2026 all three were off sale. They are documented on gamepasses. Do not buy a “private luck key” from a Discord. If those passes return, use them as extra volume, not as a promise the next pull is Legendary.

Cash multipliers (x2 through x12 cash) and x2 Ores do not say luck in the name. Treat them as economy, not rarity. AutoCollectOres only walks the island for you.

Do not block A Fresh Start

A Fresh Start (first rebirth) sits near 51% of players. Legendary Discovery sits near 25%. Those two rates are the argument: plenty of trains rebirth before they ever see Legendary or better.

If cash has stalled, take the rebirth even without this badge. The Rebirth Planner asks the Legendary question so you know what you are giving up this cycle, not so you freeze. Luck does not need a dying smelter.

If income is still rising and you are a few affordable pulls from another unique, stay. If you are one floor from Tier Tower 3 and that climb is real, finish the floor. Legendary is a parallel project, not the boss of every other system.

Index first, then the train

A Legendary cart is double value only if you stamp it and keep it attached when the tier list says S-band keepers belong on the line. An index stamp with the cart sitting in a dump pile is still a badge. A pretty attach with no stamp is a screenshot.

Master Collector (full index, about 0.2%) is a different mountain. One Legendary does not complete the index. Do not confuse the two badges. Badges lists both in official words.

What this wiki will not tell you

• A pull count that “guarantees” Legendary
• A secret lever behind the tower
• A code that grants rarity (none are confirmed on codes)

The hunt is the published loop: cash, lever, unique stamp, attach keepers, rebirth when the cycle dies, repeat. That is how about a quarter of the player base already owns Legendary Discovery without a leaked name list.
